It was built with a tap at the bottom of the pail so as to be able to dispense colostrum directly into colostrum bags.
The pail is used like any other fresh cow milk collecting device. What is different about this pail is that after colostrum is taken out of the pail it can be hooked back up to the milking system again where it can be washed during the regular system wash cycle.
This pail holds 20 liters, is 24 inches high and is 12 inches in diameter.
